Since launching our 3rd layer of SEO learning tools, we have received many questions that are all the same basic concept…
As I said in our LearntoBlog Facebook group, it really depends on what your biggest struggle is or where you are lacking in knowledge.
If we assume that you have virtually zero traffic, only know one little part of Google Analytics, have never even heard of Webmaster Tools, and are terrified of exactly what SEO means then, I would suggest the following order:
Step One:
The very first place you should start is with our free 5-day WMT email course. This course can help you get your tools in order so that working through any of our premium products is much easier. After fully completing the 5-day course, you can dive right into any of our products.
However, I promised to put them in order for you. 🙂
Step Two:
While you would think doing the free dominate 5-day course should lead right into the DOMINATE product, DOMINATE is a bit more advanced than SKYROCKET.
So, next up should be SKYROCKET. I highly recommend the course and the workbook. The workbook has bonus items that help you set up some much needed shortcuts within Google Analytics. If you have no traffic, you might have to skip the Real Time chapter and come back to it after you grow your traffic a bit – otherwise, you could get frustrated when you never catch people on your site.
Step Three:
Now that you have a bit over a month under your belt, you should see improvement in your traffic! So, next up is making sure your site is being read correctly and getting a bit of SEO under your belt. So, it is time to tackle the DOMINATE course and workbook.
Step Four:
At this point, you are at least 2 months into using the LTB strategies to grow your blog and increase the knowledge of the back-end of your site. It is time for the big leagues! Yep, it is time to tackle SEO once and for all!
Are you ready to CONQUER the layers of SEO? 🙂 Grab up the self-paced SEO course here.
Step Five:
You understand Google Analytics and how to make the data in there work for you. You understand Webmaster Tools and how to make that data work for you. You have a working knowledge of SEO and a keyword plan. However, your site isn’t really set up for the bots and the readers. It is time for a professionally done Site Critique. Yes, the professional is you. 🙂 Grab up our Site Critique Cheat Sheet and work through it!
