Have great content? Want more eyeballs on your posts? Looking for a new way to connect with other bloggers? Then you need to be promoting your blog through linky parties!
Multiple times every day, there are link parties going live in a variety of niches.
Are you a food blogger? There are recipe related link parties. Are you a craft blogger? There are DIY and craft related link parties. Write about kids’ content or fashion? There are parties for these niches, too.
There are even parties that accept just about anything, as long as it’s family-friendly content.
Wondering how to find these parties? Here are some of my favorite parties each week:

Linky Party Tips:
- Share where you party. Make sure you have a dedicated “Where I Party” page to the parties that you link up to. This gives each host credit for your participation in their party (and is a requirement at nearly every single link party). And then within each blog post that you link up at a linky party, make sure you have linked to your “Where I Party” page. I simply make sure that my signature line has a dedicated link back to my “Where I Party” page so that I don’t forget to add it later.
- Leave comments. To get more interaction from the party hosts and increase your chance of potentially being featured, leave a comment for the host and thank them for the party. Maybe even add a tidbit about some of your favorites from last week too (don’t self-promote unless you’ve been featured and then thank them for the feature of blah blah blah post).
- Follow the rules. Follow the party guidelines. Each party has its own set of guidelines. Make sure you follow them.
- Find new friends. Discover new content at each link party you participate in and visit some of your favorite links. If you have extra time, leave that blogger a comment and share on social media!
Promoting your blog through link parties is a great way to network with other bloggers, receive link backs (which help your SEO and blog traffic) and get inspired by your fellow creatives.
It’s a great way to be “seen” in a sea of amazing talent by new potential readers. Even if you consistently link up your posts at only 5-10 parties/week, you’ll begin to gain new readers and more traffic back to your blog.

More Tips About Linky Parties
Erica Watkins says
This has been very helpful. As a book blogger, it is quite difficult to find linky parties. But, seeing how effective they can be, I will have to keep looking for those that might fit a book I’ve reviewed or featured.
